Two of America's finest performers, Michelle Perry, horn, and
Douglas Major,
organ, have joined together to share their talents in a Horn and Organ showcase spectacular.
Ms. Perry is the horn player of the Empire Brass Quintet, hailed as “North America’s finest
brass quintet”, and has performed as soloist with many orchestras in the US, Australia, Scandinavia,
and Europe. Dr. Major, former organist and choirmaster of the National Cathedral in Washington DC,
is a frequent international organ soloist, appearing with orchestras and specialized ensembles in Europe,
Asia and the US. Ms. Perry and Dr. Major have collaborated together for several years to great acclaim,
presenting concerts throughout the US, as well as tours of Japan, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia with the
Empire Brass Quintet.
Their repertoire includes Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and
contemporary repertoire, with many arrangements by Ms. Perry and Dr. Major. They are happy to tailor
a concert to a specific audience, hall, or concert organ, depending on the requests of the presenter.
